Shepard Fairey Scouting Mural Locations


If you think you saw Shepard Fairey tooling around town in the company of the Halsey’s Mark Sloan some time this past year, you probably did. The artist has been in Charleston a couple of times looking for places to create new murals, which will be included in his show at the Halsey in May (the exhibition’s called The Insistent Image and features work by contemporary icon Jasper Johns as well). Keep your eyes peeled for his iconic images coming soon to a building near you.
