9neintu looks for inner peace on ‘Numb’

Ruta Smith

9neintu is back with his new single, “Numb,” released Sept. 1. The song shows the rapper “Venting, praying and accepting things I can’t change.”

The song is a much smoother beat than his 2019 LP, The Life and Times of Sebastian Slick. 9neintu lets his verses take the lead while the beat adds an electronic chill vibe.

“I’ve been in a blue realm lately, where it’s not just a sadness, it’s an inner peace I’m trying to grab onto when the world is in utter chaos,” he said.

“Numb” can be heard on Apple Music and Spotify
