While we here at the City Paper are proponents of #freethenipple, we also understand the need for specially tailored undergarments. For those times like last week's embarrassing wardrobe malfunction ... and that nip slip last summer at the beach, there's a need for, well, nipple covers.

Enter Boob-eez. The brainchild of College of Charleston alum Carlie Christenson, who won 2016 Student Entrepreneur of the Year, 2016 Women Student Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as an Honorable Mention in 2017 for Charleston Woman to Watch for her invention.

Boob-Eez are super-thin silicone discs that offer an invisible barrier between breasts and clothing. They are washable, reusable, and have a "disappearing edge" that is virtually invisible under clothes and can even be worn under swimwear and dance gear.

Boob-eez have been mentioned alongside some pretty big celebrity names, like Brooke Burke.

On Dec. 9 and Dec. 10, Boob-Eez will be available at two of King Street’s boutiques, V2V and Bevello. Christenson herself will also be on hand selling the products, which run from $14-$18. Find her at V2V from 3-5 p.m on Sat., Dec. 9 and from 1-4 p.m on Sun., Dec. 10 at Bevello, both on King Street in downtown Charleston.
