It’s the end of an era and a very preppy one at that. That’s right — the Lacoste store on King Street is shutting it’s doors after 10 collared shirt years of business. This Saturday (Jan. 25) will mark the last day of Lacoste’s reign over 248 King St.
Charleston’s location was the only South Carolina operated Lacoste. It’s demise marks Charlotte, N.C. as the closest home to the iconic crocodile emblem. There is no word on what will be replacing Lacoste.
