Re: “Gov. candidate Catherine Templeton calls Steve Bannon "the voice of the rest of us" ahead of his Citadel speaking gig

Steve Bannon is dismissing Roy Moore's alleged pederasty as a non-issue created by the "democratic apparatus", whatever that is. No, Roy Moore created the issue when he fondled and p***y-grabbed a 14 year old (also a 17 and 18 y.o.), who by definition, lacks the legal maturity to consent to such grabbing. Gee, Ms. Templeton, would you like him to turn his amore' toward you or, do you object to his misogyny and alleged criminal pederasty and Bannon's dismissal of it? Or, maybe you just know the woman's place in a man's society and you are just folding to their "power".

Re: “Stranger Things and the fears and freedoms of the 1980s

The Reagan Administration was a nightmare. It's a good thing America learned its lesson and stopped electing celebrities with dementia to be in charge of the country. We might be in real trouble otherwise. Could you imagine?

Re: “State Rep. Gilliard set to meet with Citadel president over Bannon appearance

Anyone who wants someone d3ad just because they are African-American, Jewish or LGBTQ fails to have a valid moral opinion. I have zero tolerance only to those who have zero tolerance of African-Americans, Jews or LGBTQs. They don't deserve to breathe the same air. You simply cannot defend the indefensible unless you're one of them. Re: https://youtu.be/P54sP0Nlngg

Re: “Human trafficking is everyone's problem

Good article. I liked your comment here:
It is up to us to raise each other up as fellow human beings. Not one of us is beyond corruption. Apathy and selfishness are our enemies.

All of us have some level of selfishness. For some it means taking what they want with no regard for another; for others its just being too lazy and interested in our own comfort to do anything to help. Either way we are all at fault in some degree. Making things right starts with each individual taking a stand and doing something about the sad circumstances of others. That is called love.

HA - a bunch of white people worried that Charleston neighborhoods will be "hollowed out". We just can't seem to stop telling everyone else where they can't be.

Re: “UberEATS is now available in Charleston

Now the ultra rich and ultra lazy can order from some nice places, but the whole idea of having a nice meal from a nice place is the experience. Just having food delivered, at a rather high price, is just silly. Order pizza and have the nice foods as a special event. These are the same folks who are soooooo busy with their seemingly important lives that they have others shop for them, and then have them put them up in their fridges and cupboards.

Re: “Taste of Hutson Alley rescheduled to next Thurs. Nov. 16

Not sure why anyone in the Chas. area would schedule an outdoor event during November-March. The weather is so unpredictable, and when you delay an event, you lose money. We have enough days in the year with good weather to have these sorts of events. There is a desire to fill up otherwise poor attendance periods, but tourism is seasonal. That is why the Horse Cup over in Ravenel is, at best, a reasonably successful event, as they have it in later November, as well.

Re: “Disagreements continue over how to best regulate and police short-term rentals

I is my understanding that up until 2012 Short Term Rentals were permitted. I don't see were during the years previous to that there were issues that seem to be of concern today. I think that short term rentals should be registered, taxed, and follow a common rule set like any other business. I also don't understand why the focus on B&B's they are few compared to the other rentals out there. The last item is enforcement, it will be easy if it is legal, don't know how it will get done if it is not.

Re: “Local company Canna Bonez makes Cannabidiol oil-infused dog treats

Wow, that's awesome! I never thought of, with marijuana becoming kind of normalized, something coming out for dogs. I hope it can help a lot of anxious little doggies.

Here's some good reads on CBD's historic use and current day research being done on it.

CBD helps a lot with epilepsy and anxiety. The problems are reasons CBD is being considered as a medicine for people; and now dogs!

Way cool. Take care

Tupper29406,
she is exactly correct in the quote you attribute to her. Do you think the majority of heterosexuals don't find homosexuality despicable and disgusting, yet we tolerate them because it's the polite thing. Your sexual preference, though legal, is still found to be disgusting by many who tolerate it.

Re: “Todd Rundgren hates the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, loves EDM, and might be a techno psychic

Todd Rundgren is 67 years old and rock n rolling all over the world. Hes a spiritual person who is tech savvy and eclectic but still popular enough to have had many major worldwide hits. Some bluesy, some rock n Roll. Hes a good as any other rocker in the hall of fame. Its sad hes gotten old but hes not left his followers, hes still there for them including another upcoming Toddstock.
Hes a professor at Notre Dame now.
And is a person of integrity not imitation. He was ahead of his time and still is.
