  • Fields to Families Annual Fundraising Oyster Roast
    Fields to Families Annual Fundraising Oyster Roast
    Sun., Jan. 20, 2-5 p.m. | Bowens Island Restaurant

    Proceeds from this event will support the mission of Fields to Families, a local non profit that grows in their own garden, harvests in fields of local farmers and collects produce at several farmers markets. The produce provides 30 local organizations with access to the produce, free of charge. Local soup kitchens, food banks, foster homes, senior homes, and low income neighborhoods can have access to healthier options for food assistance. Fields to Families is helping prevent food waste, providing education, provide healthy options and is supported by volunteers of all ages and experiences.

The class is taught in a vinyasa style and is open to all levels. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.
