Back pain can be caused by sitting, standing, doing nothing or repetitive activities. Back pain affects all ages and sadly, 85 percent of the U.S. population suffers from back pain. Yoga naturally helps strengthen and lengthen your spine and improves your back’s alignment, which can often be the root cause of persistent back pain. In this workshop, you will review the basic functional anatomy of the spine, discussing the most common back injuries, and learn what yoga postures help to improve the overall health of your spine. Taught by licensed Physical Therapist, Meg Gray.
