Re: “FILM REVIEW ‌ September Dawn

As a teenager in Salt Lake, UT my friends and I frequented the Blue Mouse, an arts and independent film theater to watch the old black & white, silent melodrama "Trapped by the Mormons." It was a propaganda flick made in 1922. We'd roll in the aisles with laughter at the polygamous zombie vampires prancing on screen. (In the 1920s and 1930s, many British films depicted Mormons as such -- and now a cult-film genre has arisen folks call "Mormonsploitation.") September Dawn will take it's rightful place among the Mormonsploitation classics. And we'll all get a good laugh. Look out for those 19-25 y.o. polygamous zombie vampires, riding their bicycles wearing white shirts and ties.
