Re: “A local entrepreneur starts a Charleston-themed T-shirt company

Dearest 'Landsnark',

Yes, Landsnark, we should bash this guy! Let's bash him for making t-shirts that cost more than $5 on the Market. Let's bash him by calling well-known landmarks and former establishments "inside jokes" that only a "small niche" will understand. I mean who the hell knows about paintings that have been on a populated street corner for decades, right? F-ing hipsters these days!

But hey, let's not stop there! Let's bash his market size that isn't geared towards profits whatsoever. If there is anything I know about people getting in the guerrilla marketing T-shirt game, it's that they are really sensitive about their market size.

While we're at it, these designs that show subtle attributes of Charleston are stupid. It's like they're trying to make something that only locals will get. Let's get some neon tank tops or something that say, "I survived Wet Willies" or something like that. Those would be really cool ...and talk about blowing up your fan-base too!

Lastly, you are right. Anyone with a computer and a phone could make these.

The guy who didn't name himself after a shitty wordplay on a shitty beer that Jimmy Buffett endorses, who presumably has a computer screen and a phone, but no t-shirt company or article written after him.

Re: “Cable's obsession with Hurricane Irene is a sign of a bigger problem

I just don't understand why the City Paper has this guy write articles. It isn't that I totally disagree with the content, but the articles are so poorly written and about the most mundane topics that I can't fathom why the City Paper can't go into a failing Charleston County Public High School to get the same level of writing. The infatuation this clown has with Nikki Haley being in office is the exact same I have for him being a writer for the City Paper.
