Happy Friday Charleston. The skies may be darkening, but that doesn't mean your spirits should be too. In fact, raise your spirits by drinking spirits, craft beer, wine, whatever suits your fancy. Cheers to the weekend.

Friday

There is so much art happening around town tonight! Check it out with the Charleston Arts Festival's Art Ride which kicks off at Redux at 5:30 p.m.

Threshold Rep presents Ripcord, a play about two women in senior living facility. Catch the show at 7:30 p.m. tonight and tomorrow and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Make the drive to Yonder Field for a drive-in movie. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Fright Nights kick off at Boone Hall starting at 7:15 p.m.

The Louie D. Project plays funk, jazz, and rock at Rita's Seaside Grille at 6 p.m.

Join MOJA's Reggae Block Dance party at Brittlebank at 6 p.m.

Head to Magnolia Park for Charleston Parks Conservancy movie night featuring Moana at 6 p.m.

The Battle of the Sexes premieres at the Terrace at 7 p.m.

Saturday

Did you know that Summerville has its very own farmers market? Head there from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

It's Park Circle Oktoberfest time. Enjoy beers, brats, and live music at the Garco Park site in North Charleston starting at noon.

Bohemian Bull hosts a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity from 4-9 p.m.

Raise money for hurricane victims at The Washout on Saturday and Sunday with two different fundraising events. Saturday's festivities start at 2 p.m.

Memminger Auditorium hosts the rescheduled firefighter calendar debut party at 6 p.m.

Peppa Pig Live! hits the Gaillard at 5 p.m. You know you want to.

MOJA's adult tennis tournament takes place at St. Andrews Parks and Playground starting at 9 a.m.

Speaking of MOJA — it's heritage day in Marion Square from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Pour House hosts the rescheduled fundraiser for the Whiddon family from 12-6 p.m.

Sunday

The Alley presents a brunch boutique with its new breakfast menu and vintage vendors from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Head to Rockers 4 Knockers at Red's Ice House from 12-9 p.m.

Revelry hosts the Barrel Swap Launch Party with Virgil Kaine from 2-6 p.m.

The Taylor Festival Choir opens their season with the concert, So Hallow'd the Time, at 3 p.m.
