Chock full of Txakoli

Ok, before you give up and read something else, we’ll help you out with this event’s pronunciation: Tx is pronounced like “cha.” Txakoli (Chock-oh-LEE) wines are the traditional wines served in Spanish tapas bars. Casey Lee of Advintage Distributing says that the goal of this event, currently in its seventh year in Charleston (the event was on hiatus in 2014), is to tie in cultural aspects of the Basque, a.k.a. a region in Northern Spain, the coast, and the community. The wine is traditionally consumed from a porron which is a large pitcher with a spout from which you can drink. It’s like all of our vino fantasies have finally come true. Pair your wine with tapas from Coast Bar & Grill , sit back, and enjoy
