My name is Beth Pashke, and along with my sister, Mary Cronin and our husbands Kevin Pashke and Paul Cronin, we own Two Rivers Tavern.

We opened Two Rivers Tavern with the goal to provide Great food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

While it is true we do not have formal restaurant experience we have brought on board people who have restaurant experience:

Restaurant consultant, Andy Fallen has previously has worked with Rue de Jean, Poe’s, Coast and Peninsula Grill and urged them to "stick with a theme, good pub food, and stay with it."

Public Relations firm, The Becket Agency, who has worked with clients such as Mellow Mushroom Charleston, Caviar & Bananas, and FUEL: Charleston, is handling all media relations and special events.

Our General Manager, Adam Holzer, has grown up in and around restaurants since his father is a successful restauranteur in Atlanta. Outside of helping run his family's business, Adam has also managed a restaurant in downtown Charleston for years before joining Two Rivers Tavern.

And the most important member of the team is Executive Chef Robert Knox. Chef Knox comes to Two Rivers Tavern from across the river in Mount Pleasant where he was the Executive Chef at an upscale eatery. Prior to that he had directed the kitchen of Master Chef Hubert Seiffert as Executive Sous Chef at Spagio (http://www.spagio.com/), a destination restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.

Robert Knox is ACF Certified and received his formal training at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu (http://www.chefs.edu/pittsburgh/) where he graduated Valedictorian and Summa cum Laude. He uses his classic French training and technique to bring a fresh twist to local flavors and ingredients.

We would also like to ask each guest to inform of of things we could do better, or things we are excelling at, so that we can grow and be one best restaurant in Charleston.

See you soon.
