Re: “Could Ron Paul be South Carolina's perfect candidate?

As an investor who received the Ron Paul investment letter back during the late 80's and early 90's, I can comment on the supposed "racist" remark by the staff writer. First, it NEVER said as this article does that blacks are more inclined to commit crimes. It said factually speaking, in Washington DC Blacks do commit most of the muggings going on, and if you have ever been a victim of one, you know they are often fleet of foot (very fast). The objection was the implication that all blacks do muggings -- which it did not say "all"--and that they are "all" fast--(I guess the slow ones get caught-wink). Frankly all the PC sensitivity from these two sentences, (sorry I don't have the exact quotes), is way over blown. It is especially wrong because the intent of the letter was about the poor conditions and how to address them. Furthermore, if Ron Paul was a racists, being a 72 year old man, you would have a lot of evidence of that going all the way back into the pre-civil rights days in the 50's, but there is not any evidence because he simply is not a racist at all. He has written against racism and bigotry before this investment newsletter and after. He is respectful to all individuals and champions human individual rights for all mankind. Those like myself who know Dr. Paul's long record on equal human rights, we know he is not a racist, yet some of those on the left can't see an "old white male" without "seeing" things that are not there and giving voice to their own bias & prejudices.
