Re: “Surfers and the city of Folly Beach exchange wipeouts

I guess you don’t have kids and yes I know it has nothing to do with drugs.
But it is about the beach, Folly Beach. And last I checked alcohol was legal.

Re: “Surfers and the city of Folly Beach exchange wipeouts

I think the Folly Beach Police need to be more aggressive when it comes to drugs on Folly. We have a lot of children living and coming to the beach. We need to be more concerned about our future generation. I know I would like to see a stronger generation of children that do fall victim to today’s drugs. We already have too many drug addicts living on Folly. I go for walks with my own children and from Center Street to the washout about every 4th or 5th house you can smell marijuana coming from them or the people are acting so crazy you know they are on something. I have had friends visit me in the past and they told me that they have been approached on several occasions from people asking if they want to buy drugs.
I know Folly is a place that people like to come and let there hair down and have a good time as it should be. I just think it would be a nicer place without all the illegal drugs. Without the dealers we would have fewer addicts.

Re: “Even at the beach, folly has its consequences

I think the Folly police should do more regarding illegal drugs. It is all over that beach. There are families that are trying to raise law abiding kids and tourist that are here on vacation and don't want to be harassed, like some drug infested island in the Caribbean
