Thursday evening began with the City Paper’s weekly Movies in the Park series showing of X-Men 3. Bubba Gump Shrimp, Häagen Dazs, and Lil’ Mama’s provided snacks while the trio Solace entertained the growing crowd before the show. Later that night at Cumberland’s , the Chimney Sweeps headlined a local lineup including Steven Fiore and Run Dan Run .

Saturday night was the official opening party for Michael Lachowski ’s show CHAD: Charleston Historical Art, Dude. His sketches and photographs depict parts of Charleston’s history with a sense of humor. Check out the video below of Michael’s take on his show.

Sunday afternoon, friends and patrons were welcomed into Poe Studio in West Ashley for its fifth anniversary party. The rain held off so partiers could enjoy the evening outside with DJ Pip while they browsed the trunk show. Also Sunday evening was the Lee Brothers ’ cookbook signing party at Hominy Grill , with food prepared by Chef Robert Stehling and over 80 books signed.
