The Scene

The Gibbes Museum of Art's Fête des Beaux Arts Masquerade Ball, held at the Hibernian Hall last Friday, featured a visually sumptuous array of guests in period attire. The masked party-goers looked like a fit of peacocks with plumage of all colors and heights. Bored aristocrats and those playing at being bored aristocrats had a great time mingling in the rococo setting. Unfortunately, a technical difficulty (i.e. a drunk man spilling his drink on my equipment) sent my camera to the shop for the rest of the weekend and left me with only pictures of the effete ball. Expect a much more diverse array of pics next week.
