The wanderer. Martin Dockery delighted Piccolo audiences last year with a one-man show called Wanderlust, about his wild trip to Africa, that was rib-tickling and insightful in equal parts. And this year he's back with an even wilder tale, The Bike Trip.

Turn on, tune in, and drop out. While biking home after a day at the lab, Swiss scientist Albert Hoffman began to feel a little funny. Little did he know that he was about to take the world's first acid trip. Seventy years later, award-winning New York City-based storyteller Dockery attempted to recreate that fateful day. This is his story.

It's better when you're high. Not that we advocate such things, but, you know, we're just saying. (Truth be told, The Bike Trip was the subject of rave reviews in London, Winnepeg, and Toronto, so we're betting it's pretty good when you're straight-up sober too.)
