Re: “Josh Groban wins us over

Wow, Mr. Wright - it's obvious you had a terrible experience at the concert, which is too bad. While I wasn't at this show, I did see Josh in concert in Cincinnati in July. I was in the cheap seats - way up high in the nosebleed section. From either stage, it was pretty hard to even make out who was singing (I would have loved to have seen any part of him, front or back, close up!). And yet I thoroughly enjoyed every second of his singing, drum and piano playing, his wit, his repartee with the audience, the Q&A part of the concert - every bit of it. Even the annoying fireworks going off outside the arena when the Reds won that night, all of which Josh seemed to accept with good humor. It was a night I'll never forget. Oh, and I'm not in the 20-30 set; far from it. In fact, I'm old enough to be his mother and yet I absolutely loved everything he sang, songs from his latest album, Illuminations, and his older numbers. I am grateful he is not taking career advice from you, Sir. I think his manager is doing just fine for Mr. Groban...and all those sell out shows throughout the world would agree!
