Stingrays in playoffs

Team plays Cincinnati in N. Charleston on Friday

Despite the onslaught of spring and the 80-plus degree weather the city's experienced the last few weeks, the ice at the North Charleston Coliseum is still plenty cold. It's the perfect temperature for the South Carolina Stingrays, who have made it to this year's American Conference Quarterfinals Series.

They're playing against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Currently, the Cyclones lead the best-of-five series 1-0, but that might change with tonight's game at the U.S. Bank Arena in Ohio. The teams will take the rink here for game three on Fri. April 9 at 7:05 p.m. Head to the Stingray's website for more information.
