Re: “Thurmond, Tumpy, and other 1st Dist. candies give thumbs up to Iraq War

"Anyone who still thinks the Iraq war was a good idea or some sort of shining moment travels in the smallest circle imaginable."

Let's see... here on planet Earth the choices were Saddam stays in power or Iraqis have free elections.

Let's hear your case for Saddam staying in power as a better plan?

Re: “Stop Henry McMaster!

"The government is already telling you that you have to buy insurance or there is a penalty: car insurance, home owner's insurance, business insurance, etc"

Nive try, but those mandated insurance lines are ONLY to protect others. You're not required to buy car insurance to cover YOUR car, you have to buy it to cover the people or things you damage. You're not required to buy homeowners insurance to protect YOU, but to protect people who might be injured on your property or your mortgage lender in case of loss.

I can understand why you don't grasp this, our president proved HE didn't understand "minimum required car insurance" when you repeated his little saga about his beat-up college car at the health care summit.

Re: “Stop Henry McMaster!

"If coverage was not mandatory and there was no pre-existing medical condition exculsion, who the hell would buy insurance unless they were seriously ill? Answer: NO ONE. Then insurance would be totally unaffordable."

I have news for you, that's where we're headed anyway. Even if the penalty stands as a matter of law, the dollar figure is so low that anyone with any real commonsense and limited guilt reflex WILL drop their coverage, pay the paltry fine and buy insurance only as they need it.

Re: “Drudge Report wants you to "bomb" Pelosi

Chris wasn't silent when Democrats were using even more direct, violent language because he's a moron. He was silent about it because didn't fit the narrative. The need now for Democrats is something to change the subject and dismiss the critics. That means playing the race card and pretending there’s genuine violence in the air and that the critics have a monopoly on it.
