SOUND MEDICINE. The Spiral of Sound Crystal Bowl Choir is gracing Piccolo Spoleto with their performance, "Wisdom, Oneness, and the Divine." Sponsored by the Sophia Institute, this community meditation concert, will feature a choir playing translucent crystal bowls, designed to de-stress and restore listeners.

HIGH FREQUENCY. Candace Keach, director of the Spiral of Sound Crystal Bowl Choir, composes chords for her and her ensemble to play with sound intervals that relate to geometric ratios and mathematical proportions in the human body. This way, when the music hits, you feel no pain.

HIGHER POWER. The SSCBC has performed with anywhere from three to 30 crystal bowls. They've played, accompanied by a cellist, songs like Lenard Cohen's "Hallelujah." Since 2010, SSCBC has been a touring artist with the Georgia Council for the Arts, helping audiences nationwide discover the silence of sound.
