Re: “We need more responsibility, less finger-pointing from the black community

For a change you wrote something that makes SOME sense. However, you hate GEORGE BUSH so bad that you have to express this in almost every article you write, including this one. I guess after January 2009 you won't have much to write about!

Re: “Embracing Pagan heritage

Will, I am curious about our "Pagan" ancestory! What percentage of our popualtion are pagans? What percent was pagan during the Civil War? I suspect that the percentage is smaller, and was even smaller back during the Civil war. Your article is stupid!!!!!!!!

Stegelin-, Your cartonn reflects your liberal (progressive) agenda. When the pilgrims came to this country there was no organized goverment. That is not the case now. People who come here without the goverments permission have committed a felony, the are felons. What part of ILLEGAL ALIEN can't you comprehend?

Re: “Low voter turnout

Voting has a certain responsibilty. The voter should be informed as to the candidate and the issues. During the 2000 election the senior citizens in southern Florida showed that a lot of straight party voting goes on. It also showed that alot of voters couldn't punch a "chad" properly. Dimple chads, dented chads, partial chads? If a mistake had been made then a simple request for a new ballot can be made. Not knowing, not caring, or not checking the (as instructed) shows the carelessnes of the voters. The voting machines are about as simple as a human being can vote, and reports still come in of people making many errors. Photo identification is not a unreasonable requirement( especially tamper proof ones) as many illegals have voted. Many reports also surfaced about people who voted in two or more locations in South Florida during the 2000 election. Any reasonable person who objects to reasonable safeguards, has an agenda. Safe guarding the sanctify of the voting process is paramount. Uneducated (politically) and apathetic voters should not vote.
