Price: $84-$250

Trip to Havana

Please note that this event has SOLD OUT. Do you love nature? Do you love Charleston? Do you love extravagant Havana-inspired street fiestas? Then you’ll want to head to the annual Party for the Parks at Colonial Lake. Local nonprofit Charleston Parks Conservancy helps preserve and connect the community to the beautiful landscapes and parks Charleston has to offer. Passport to Cuba is this year’s theme, hoping to take you out to the Cuban seaside avenue of the Malecón. The annual event is jam packed with live music from the Gino Castillo Band, salsa performances, an open bar, signature rum cocktails, Cuban cuisine sampling, cigar rolling, and street fair food on behalf of over 20+ restaurants. And if you participate in the raffle you have the chance of winning a brand new boat: 2017 Carolina Skiff 198 DLV. All proceeds will help renovate, preserve, and expand the more than 25 Charleston City Parks and their respective gardening programs. Last year’s event raised well over $115,000, a portion of which helped fund the grand renovation of Colonial Lake in 2016.
