Slow Sips at Stems & Skins

When: Wed., March 1, 9:30-12 a.m. 2017
Slow Food Charleston constituents, oenophiles and those just longing for a European escape will gather Wednesday, March 1 at Park Circle’s Stems & Skins to enjoy salty wines and tinned seafood curated by Matt Tunstall, cicchetti by Jacques Larson, a salumi tasting compliments of Creminelli Fine Meats and bread from Slow Food Charleston's founders EVO Craft Bakery. Additionally Grassroots Wine is providing a surprise magnum to pour, so don't miss out on a great opportunity to try some fun and freaky ferments. From 9:30pm until Midnight a portion of all proceeds will benefit Slow Food Charleston’s localized initiatives with a menu of unique and large format wines available by the glass. This late night happy hour will showcase salinic coastal wines, preserved or ‘tinned’ seafood, and cicchetti-style snacks in a casual, late night atmosphere.
