SEWE Fall Party

When: Fri., Sept. 25, 7 p.m. 2009
Phone: (843) 723-1748
Price: $40/advance, $50/door

The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition takes place every February in Charleston. Attendees shuttle in from all parts of the country to take in landscape art and animal exhibits that raise money and awareness for regional wildlife. One of the biggest events of the year, it signals the beginning of a busy event season in town. Likewise, SEWE’s Fall Party signals the beginning of cooler times for local, wildlife-loving event-goers. Surrounded by pumpkins and haybales in the fresh, fall air of the Bus Shed, you can expect to get messy as the spread includes succulent barbecue and local oysters. Your ticket covers all of your wining and dining needs, as there will also be an open bar, (all guest must be over 21). Dancing is a must with local band Triple Lindy kicking out the jams, and featured artist Luke Frazier will unveil his new poster for SEWE 2010. Ducks Unlimited will have an ongoing silent auction and raffle during the party. —Patrick McGinn
