Re: “Hungry like the Cougar

This article is completely insulting to any woman over 35 years old.

Why don't you write an article explaining why every man in Charleston is completely and absolutely obsessed with sex? You are all sickening.

Additionally, I will never patronize any of the resturants mentioned in this article again.

Please ....Grow TFU!

Re: “Upstairs at Joe Pasta

I had a bad expereince with the Black Cart a while back. I went with a friend and bought us both a beer on my debit card. When the bill turned up on my account, they had billed me twice. I called several times and was told the charge would be removed, but it wasn't. I personally went to Joe Pasta ( who was handling their billing at the time - don't know if they still are or not) to speak to the manager about this. He was "too busy" to see me, got my number but never bothered to call me back. If they ripped me off I am sure they did it to others. I was unable to ever get this corrected. If I ever do go back to the Black Cart, which was a pretty fun place and I did like, I will feel like I should steal $8 worth of something. Beware if you are not using cash at this establishment.
Shame on You Black Cart!

Re: “Can Christian conservatives learn from their sins?

What a great article and analogy.

Thank you, and I do hope BJU, and others, read this article and find it fruit for thought.

Hate of any kind is contrary to the principles Christians say they espouse. They are wrong, wrong, wrong and that is why I am not one of them. And I probably never will be.
Thank you God, that I am not so blind.

Re: “Henry Brown blames minorities for the banking crisis

I live in a nice , white neighborhood on James Island. The houses sell for $200,000, to 'way up there'. I counted last weeknd some 24 For Sale signs in a six block area.

The truth is, nice white people bought houses they couldn't afford, at terms that were ill-advised.

Now these nice white people can't afford their homes. And there is NOT a minority home owner is in site for miles, not one. These all white people.

Henry Brown is an idiot. I am voting for Linda, and it's a "not-Henry" vote (sorry Linda, but you have my vote and I am sure you will do fine). It is time to retire all these self-serving, racist old South geezers- for good.

I don't understand why no one has made more of a big deal about McCain explaining ( 2nd debate) to the nice black fellow who ask him a question about the financial crisis "well, you may not have heard about or understood Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac..." - What did he say? Everyone and their mother knows something about Fannie & Freddie. I thought McCains insulting, patronizing attitude should cost him not only every black vote but also the election.

I guarantee Barack Obama did not miss the implications but to his credit, he made no comment.

What is wrong with these old geezers? It is time to retire them for good.

Re: “Bomb theory, Scrambled porn, Maverick Sanford

Wasn't Sanford voted one of the worst, or the worst, Governor in the USA just last year? Yes, with such credentials, he would make an ideal candidate for (Repuglicant) VEEP. I really like his idea to increase cigarette taxes (and the attendent suffering that price hike will cause smokers) right smack in the middle of a recession. He is really in touch with the people of SC .......that is if one considers "the people" to be all the other Republicant millionaires on Sullivan's Island.
