Re: “5 things to know about Michael Toscano's forthcoming Italian restaurant Le Farfalle

Can't wait to eat with you! We are from Stamford Ct and have eaten in almost all of your any restaurants and were members of the James Beard foundation for 2yrs. Love and met Mario Batali one night a Babo, he gave my mother-in-law who came running to him when she saw him( Italian I might add) a big hug and called her mama! Something we will never forget! We are ordinary people that just love food.

Re: “The Agenda: Syncing local traffic lights; SC traffic deaths up; Slager suing cops group

The lights on James Island and especially between West Ashley and The Wapoo bridge, buy Earth Fare make no sense. The light to Savannah Hwy, needs to allow more cars out! The traffic just backs up down Folly road and Maybank Hwy. Camp Road at Folly is another area that backs up. I have only lived here for a year and a half and realize the traffic has gotten worse, but coming from a big city I know they can do a better job of sinking the lights. My other question during traffic accidents and flooding closings why are there not police officers directing traffic? There can be numerous police there, but know one is directing cars around the problem, it's everyone for themselves causing more problems. And why does it take so long to get a car moved out if the way, and into the center lane so traffic can move? While I'm at it, why is it that some people think that center lane is for driving in, especially when they come across 3 lane and just keep going. And no one here seems to want to get out of the way for emergency vehicles.
