Re: “Ron Paul's government guillotine

I have asked this question before and been shouted down as a hater - but it is a serious question so please - if you are knowledgable about Ron Paul's policies take a minute to answer this: When those government agencies are cut - what will take their place? I understand that there is a lot of wastefulness in DC, but can you really tell me that the Department of Education or the Interior is entirely useless? SO for the essential functions - who or what will take those over? My real worry is that if you leave everything up to the states the differences will be extreme based on region - it seems to me that the original point of having a federal government was to create a common law - to have national regulations on certain things, and that was why Congress was empowered to create administrations by the Constitution. I understand that things have gotten bloated and agree that serious changes must be made, but saying 'cut the agency' scares me a more than a little. If someone could explain the plans for transition I would greatly appreciate it.
