Sea Island Savory Herbs is a nursery wonderland where you can find all manner of aromatic and medicinal herbs, edible flowers, vegetable starts, shade-lovers, and ornamental plants like cactus, kaffir lime, and three-foot ginger plants (Mon.-Sat., 9 a.m.-4 p.m.). It’s a great place to spend your Saturday picking out some vegetable starts for your garden. Sea Island Savory is owned by Danielle Spies and Ella Cowen, who offer upwards of 10 varieties of rosemary, lavender, thyme, and mint, and they have a proliferation of topiaries. You’ll find them at the Mt. Pleasant and Downtown farmers markets. They also do business with restaurants like McCrady’s and supply stores like Hyams Garden Center. This year you’ll find tomatoes, peppers, and, of course, tons of herbs.
