Re: “Those who promise to be tough on terror ignore its root causes

It is insanity. Nobody wants to look at the causes, only the effects and then react to them. I find it disheartening that when somebody disagrees with whichever administration is in charge at the time, they are removed and a new "yes man/woman" is installed. Our gov't is so corrupt that even they think everything is as it should be. The people are so blind, they have willingly given up many of their rights for the sake of "safety." Exactly how is what we are doing in Iraq providing us more safety than before? I don't get it... We still have inept public officials that refuse to crack down on the weak links in our national security programs...and the people of the US seem complacent enough to not even talk about it and demand change. At least Ron Paul has lit another side of a once burning fire hoping to rekindle the ideas that once made this country great. I'm afraid, though, that the status quo will eventually crush this nation and the people that live here...

Re: “Could Ron Paul be South Carolina's perfect candidate?

Ron Paul is the only choice. I have never been involved with politics, but now that we have a voice that is starting to be heard around the world, I am excited. Americans need to wake up and start reading more history, as it is the only way we know to come close to even predicting the future. Ron Paul has a firm grasp on what this country needs and Americans are starting to stand up for themselves. I am tired of seeing my hard-earned money going to waste for others benefits when we need so much help here. I am tired of the government telling me what to do and what not to do. They are the biggest scammers I have ever seen, and they continually get away with it. Let's bring in an honest man and make some changes for the better. For my children and their children and so on. This isn't for me, it is for the future of our country. Go Ron Paul!!!!

Re: “Ron Paul's Republican War

As said before, it is refreshing to see the truth posted in a newspaper, rather than some old drivel that only perpetuates our downfall. Ron Paul is the only candidate that will help bring this country back to its original intents and help us keep our sovereignty. I feel this may be the last great chance we have and I only hope sleeping Americans will wake up before it is too late. Go Ron Paul!! As an aside, I am currently reading "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin (think that is how his name is spelled). If you want a good read about the creation of the FED and how/why banks operate, pick up a copy. Ron Paul recommends it for every American. I do the same as it has opened my eyes. My money is not in banks anymore, instead invested in gold/silver that can not be eroded away.
