Re: “Sweeney's

Yes, overpriced.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had an 11$ hamburger that was pretty good. The soup that came with it was good. The $4 bud light draft sucked.

I'd give them some more time to come to their senses and realize they could have a very good and busy neighborhood bar/restaurant if priced for the local crowd. If they don't and continue to try and be an "upscale bistro" they will be gone soon.

I'm sure Sven Kowalski is honestly worried about his confederate heritage.

Re: “When Charleston County Council codes of conduct act as chains

Awesome rant.

You should learn to embrace the suck and sit back and enjoy the spectacle of hateful " Christian" hypocrites getting poorer and poorer as those they elect blatantly rip them off. They deserve to be poor with crappy education and low paying jobs it's what they voted for!

Re: “P&C Pulitzer winner explains why she left journalism for public relations

Good story on something flying below the radar of everyone else. Enjoyed it.

The lesson I take from this is to use your low paying journalism job to make connections and then abandon ship as soon as possible to make money in the government/corporate field. To hell with idealism or exposing corruption these days. As we march forward to a police state being a journalist will become more and more dangerous unless the media/corporate/government story line is followed.

Re: “The media, elected officials unite with big business to oppose unions

South Carolina and its workforce deserves to be poor.

If the workers in this state are so stupid they actually believe these corporations care one iota about them, their quality of life or the health of their families they deserve what they get and should be exploited until they are used up and then discarded like any other disposable commodity.
