Re: “The Big metallic Four invade Summerville

Damn, finally something I would actually pay to see in a theater, and I'm out of town.

Re: “The Democratic Party is a plant

Then why did they even bother to vote? Exercising the right to vote has to be more than just showing up at a polling place and pushing buttons. Of course anyone who would even read this article knows that. So, what percentage of the electorate does that include? What percentage of people who pull this periodical from the foyer of a restaurant would even read the news and opinion portion of the paper? I would not be surprised to find out it's a small percentage. Of course, the rest could probably easily tell you who the last three contestants on American Idol were. (Who?) More people watch that than almost all the news programs on the networks and cable combined. So, what we end up with is an ideological 'war' (and no Morecock, that's not a call to arms tomorrow) waged between parties with a passionate commitment to their beliefs. So, we know, when those people go to vote, they know exactly what they're doing when they push that button, and the rest vote for someone because their name sounds like that of a deceased 'pop star'. Well, at least she was embarassed about it.

Re: “Tim Scott is proof of how far we've come

So Dwayne, let's pull one out of the Democrat playbook and say that the only reason anyone would disagree with Tim Scott or be opposed to his policy positions would be because he is black. Plain as day.

Re: “Science Suggests Liberals Are More Creative — Like Science Was Necessary!

And what is it these creative geniuses give us? Piss in jars, menstrual blood paintings, The Communist Manifesto, movies that suck, tv that sucks, education that sucks, pie in the sky visions of the world. So liberals are more creative only in the context of the "arts". Big whoop. That leaves conservative, so called non-creative people to do the heavy lifting, while the 'artist' plies his trade, which of course cannot support him financially, thus he/she needs assistance and thus we get groups like the National Endowment for the Arts to federally 'assist' these 'starving artists'. And we get the Speaker of the House, who while patting herself and her puppet Jim Clyburn on the back for passing health care, states that now artists can be artists, and musicians can be musicians, and not have to worry about that pesky "day job" to pay their way. I'll admit to the fact that liberals make better artists, and performers, write better fantasy, and make better movies (as long as they leave war out of it). But let's see them do all that without us ignorant savages to dig up the coal, pump out the oil, refine the gasoline, produce the food, etc. etc. Let's see them operate in an environment like that found in various communist and totalitarian countries, which they would be, should the millions of us non-creative neanderthals not take up the task of keeping the US a free country by our military service (and, no, I didn't believe we should have invaded Iraq and I let my representative know my feelings, but I followed orders anyway). So while you artistic liberals are great for making entertainment and art, the real mundane tasks must be left to those of us who don't daydream for a living.
