Last year the RiverDogs headed to the playoffs with their best record, 76-63, since 2007. They hope to recreate that scenario this year; with less than two weeks left in the regular season, the RiverDogs are first place in their division. Tickets are now available for a possible game one of the South Atlantic League Divisional round on Wed. Sept. 6 at 7:05 p.m. against the Greenville Drive.

In addition to heading to back to back playoffs, the 'Dogs hope to set another record this year, where they're poised to break the all-time single season attendance record set last year (293,161).

But before all of that, you can check the RiverDogs out at their three last season games at home against the Hickory Crawdads. RiverDogs take on the Crawdads next Tues. Aug. 29-Thurs. Aug. 31.

Each night features a special theme: Tuesday is trendy Tuesday, so you can listen to "trendy" dance music throughout the night from Magic 107.3 and Z93 Jamz, as well as snag ticket specials from Harris Teeter which include two tickets for dinner and drinks for $20 at the gate; Wardrobe Wednesday features a T-shirt giveaway and a special edition of Dog Days at the Joe a.k.a. furry friends are welcome at this game; and Thursday, as always, features beats from DJ Natty Heavy and $1 beers in the Ashley View Pub. Thursday is also bike night at the Joe — ride your Holy City Spokes bike to the game and get half off your ride.
