Re: “It looks like Gov. Haley already knows all the moves

It is sad to see the term "teabags of the party" used by a "journalist". It shows a bias towards citizens that used to have a trust in government only to wake up and realize how far off the rails our elected officials have driven over the past four decades. I agree that tax loopholes should be removed. I believe a flat tax across the board is what should be proposed. ie. X on Goods, Y on services, Z on food, and D on medical. I do believe food and medical should be at a lower rate than goods and services. I believe contributions to charities should not be taxed. I do not consider political organizations or the arts to be charities. Less school days would not be a problem if the public schools had real incentives, not bureaucratic nightmares to offer. Education has never been a money issue, only a power and ego issue. As far as efficiency in government, on average 60 cents of every dollar is lost in the government for every dollar taxed. Can anyone say too much red tape? Private companies are able to utilize 75 cents of every dollar to improve goods and services. Some charities are able to utilize 95 cents of every dollar. I know where I want to put my money. I hope Nikki Haley is able to work towards these goals and I will oppose recommendations to grow government at every corner.
