Re: “Grindz Burgers & Brew

My wife and I have been about 3 times in the last year. Every time we have been there haven't been more than one or two at the bar and a few people eating. Not sure how they stay open. With that said the burgers were good and the beer okay. Would like to see a better selection of draft beer but all in all each time has been a good experience. I just wish they would clean and lighten the place up - it dosen't feel very clean. Could be that it has dark walls and furnishings.

Re: “Newt Gingrich's morbidly obese ego is bad for the GOP

Newt is not a perfect man, made mistakes and for sure has his flaws as all of us do. However, what people are not getting is that Newt has the courage to take a stand, show some backbone and is very articulate in doing so. For far too long we have put republicans in office who envaribly ended up bowing to liberal ideaology and quite frankly many of us are tired of feeding the wimpy republicans that don't have the courage to lead on conservative principles. They are partly to blame for the mess we are in now by not standing for conservative values and caving in to the dems. You have Bush republicans and Regan Republicans - big difference. Newt is a Regan republican.

What you are seeing in Newt's overwhelming support is that we finally have a conservative that has the backbone to call it like it is. The Rhino republicans are in full panic mode - so are the dems because they do not want to have Newt debate Barack Hussein Obama. Pretty easy to figure the outcome on that one. The assault on Newt will be withering and people need to understand what is behind the attacks - the soul of America is hanging in the balance with this national election. Everyone will need to make a choice for a free republic or a government controlled society, where the government picks the winners and losers.

As for the race baiting - total nonsense. Newt is not race baiting - but the liberal media is fanning those dishonest flames. That are very adept at the art of class warfare and only the ignorant and intellectual lazy minded people will follow that and the media is counting on them to stay ignorant and intellectually lazy.
Oh yea- Ann Coulter? She dated Bill Maher - need I say more.

Re: “White reporters report on white candidates at CNN debate

Liberals - Where do you people come from? You don't have the mental capacity to engage in civil intellectual conversation without name calling, such as calling people racist (which in and of itself is racist). Racism is a condition of the heart, not a product of a political party. Just because someone disagrees with you point of view does not make them a racist.

Go Newt - let's change the country so all people living here can once again enjoy the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Freedom is at stake for all Americans regardless of their race or national orgin - the choice is clear - do you want a socialist society or a free republic. It is just that simple.

Re: “White reporters report on white candidates at CNN debate

The only thing baffling is the fact that you are employed. Your tirade is all too familiar and as usual just plain stupid.

It is not the Republicans that want to make everyone wards of the government, which in the end robs people of self-esteem and dignity not to mention freedom. As Ben Franklin once said - "those willing to sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither". The Democratic party once proud and noble has been hijacked by the socialist party. What a shame.

Re: “Coming of age at the CNN debate

I love Newt - He drives liberals nuts!

Oh yeah, he also has more brain power than the combined current white house occupants who have no idea what in the heck they are doing, other than trying to turn the country into a socialist society.

Re: “Who will get your vote in the Jan. 21 Republican primary?

still a little perplexed on which candidate I will vote for. like some of what all are saying.
Like Ron Paul but am not comfortable with his foreign policy. huntsman makes sense but can't agree with him on civil unions, romney sounds good but at his core he is a NE moderate and I don't totally trust him, santorum I like most of what he says but he comes across as angry and I am afraid he would be too quick to push the button, perry stumbled in the debates and cannot recover - that's a shame because I think he would actually do a good job - so that leaves newt - smart but has baggage - he would clobber Obama in the debates - so at this point I am leaning toward him. In the end I will support the nominee regardless. Any of the above would be an infinately better choice than obama.
