Re: “As Charleston's tent cities grow, other communities find tangible solutions

I actually met Glennis and Lennis prior to this article. I'm inclined to think the article was written because I knew of a tent city and we (Zee and I) shot some lousy footage and he made a Queen song his. They were very hostile, it's a total invasion of space. Most people have the comfort of their home, wherever their head may lay. They are very gentle, genuine guys but will bullshit you to death. This coverage was the last thing they wanted - we forget the pride some people may have when we speak of being homeless. Some people admit it but it's looked down on as well. It depreciates the value of a human once it's known they are sleeping rough, regardless of their previous credentials. This was "investigative journalism", cold and clear, zero emptahy. I understand the aim was to aid but there was a lot of ignorance. Would YOU be proud if someone stuck a camera in the tent you're forced to live in because of bad decisions? One thing Charleston lacks is empathy, to this day. Maybe hire better qualified authors (a background in psychiatry helps)
