Prepare yourself for the Palette and Palate Stroll

Stroll with it

If you’re looking for an evening of local food and wine, with a delectable selection of fine art, the 4th annual Palette & Palate Stroll is being held in historical Charleston on Fri. July 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This year, the unofficial theme for the Palette and Palate Stroll is “food and camaraderie.” During the event, strollgoers can sample food and taste wine from local restaurants, while taking in artwork featured at Charleston Fine Art Dealers’ Association member galleries.

Here are the pairings:

Ann Long Fine Art & Oak Steakhouse
Carolina Galleries & Circa 1886
Charleston Renaissance Gallery & High Cotton
Corrigan Gallery & Cypress
Ella Richardson Fine Art & Social
John Doyle Art Gallery & 82 Queen
Helena Fox Fine Art & the Boathouse
Horton Hayes Fine Art & Shine
Martin Gallery & Fat Hen and Wild Olive
Robert Lange Studios & FIG
Smith Killian Fine Art & McCrady's
The Sylvan Gallery & Halls Chophouse
Wells Gallery & Charleston Grill

Lese Corrigan, president of CFADA, says they’re hoping to sell out this year. “It’s a way to taste food from 13 different restaurants, to meet new people, to try something different in a non-intimidating situation,” Corrigan says.

The best part? Tickets are only $30, which includes food and wine, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Visual Arts Scholarship Fund.
