Pecha Kucha 3 returns on Wed. June 3, at a special summery outdoor setting. If you haven't made it to the previous incarnations, Pecha Kucha is a fun, casual gathering that gives local creatives a brief time slot to talk about what they do. Each presenter is allowed to present 20 slides, at 20 seconds each. It's a fast-paced, exciting way to learn about our local artistic community. The upcoming event features architect Jane Frederick, Ryan Cockrell of Pour it Now, Buen Aché founder Julia Jaskwhich, Chef Iverson Brownell, photographer Kevin Hoth (a City Paper contributor), and Josh Martin of the Coastal Conservation League. Tickets are just $5, limited to two tickets per person. The sweet Fuzzco-designed poster is available online now for $3.
