Re: “Blondie the horse's accident raises moral questions about the carriage tour industry

To Susan, the "lifelong horsewoman": I hope you don't ever ride your horse since that is completely unnatural.

Culinary Kid: "every time I make eye contact with one of these horses, it looks like its begging me for help" So what have you done to help? Have you donated thousands of dollars for their upkeep? There are so many horses that do not have a job to pay for their food, shelter, medical and dental care.

You said:" I know these are work horses but this is not what they were meant for." Are they meant to work pulling a plow through soil all day in the heat? Seems like pulling a carriage on flat pavement is much easier than farm work. BTW- learn a few acceptable vocabulary words to use in a public forum.

BBSC: "animals who should be in retirement and on a natural farm." Again, what have you done to help horses in need? These horses have a job with "benefits". They don't need your help. Did you know that 150,000 American horses, per year, go to slaughter? They need your help. Help those horses to live, not die in a foreign country.

"If it's dangerous for humans i.e. heat advisorys it's dangerous for these horses" You don't understand equine vs human anatomy. Take a hands on course to learn about horses and what they need, not what you need. There is a huge difference.
