Re: “THE GOOD FIGHT ‌ American Theocracy

I have read this book and it was a good read. However, I do not believe it is the religion itself that is radical. Merely, the individuals in office are radical and fickle. Assuming you believe the Bible is true and all-perfect, God splits up humanity into two categories: those who follow him (enter into heaven) and those who do not follow him (those sent to hell). Ultimately, linking those who oppose Christianity to Satan and what He represents. Man is naturally sinful. I don't believe there are any Christians that are completely perfect. In this case, George W. Bush and admin's political decisions and his family's business ethics are most certainly not perfect by any cost. Bush cannot claim to be a "man of God" with all the Greed. And no one else is any Holier, but a man's personal gain should not be paid by the American citizens, or world, for that matter. You have your extremists and average followers in any religion. Here, the Bush administration just so happens to do almost everything that goes against Christianity. This religion, that has been beaten up and spit upon, is not the cause of Bush's short-sightedness. He just is not a good President.
