Re: “What's with the avalanche of yogurt spots on King Street?

Everyone knows that the best ways of laundering money are offshore dummy corporations and yogurt shops.

Seriously...Paolo's is tha bom 'cept when they put too much pistachio in tha shouldn't of missed that one.. Other than that...Anyone with good business since (those who are at a heightened level of caution in today's business climate) knows that restaurants/food vendors have a success rate of about 9 of 10 failing in the first year. So keep'em coming til we have 10, we'll keep one and we'll enjoy all of the fees, taxes and start up supply purchases that you can bring us. Ofcourse we all know that your main purpose is washing that drug loot. Good Luck!

Re: “Porky's Barbecue coming soon to Ashley Ave.

I'm sorry, you're right. I jumped the gun on being a diC!..i was just sayin, there's good stuff that's cheap in uptown. I feel like responses are more entertaining when they are hostile. LOL...keep up the good work! Clue me in on the Boston reference tho. Peace neighbor.

Re: “Porky's Barbecue coming soon to Ashley Ave.

In response to devilsadvocate, we assume that it will be "inexpensive and delicious" because those of us who live nearby or are fairly familiar with the area know of great places like Moe's where half price wings are a happy-hours staple and Tuesday nights bring us $4 burgers (the good kind). We also know Zappo's pizza where a large cheese won't break the bank, but it will feed all the robbers. Then of course there's the very affordable Recovery Room on "true" upper-king where the drinks are just as good as midtown, but half the price. Let's see we also have the new falafel joint on Rutledge just above the crosstown, an inexpensive, delicious veggie option...There's all that, but that probably won't convince your type. So let me see....what I meant to say was that there's a McDonald's, Taco Bell and KFC all just above the crosstown and just for you, "inexpensive and delicious" Bon Apetite!

Re: “James Island County Park

All of the local reggae bands who have big aspirations need to attend this show so that they can learn what it means to be a "tight" band. I must say that Jah Works hasn't been the same since lead singer "Scotty P" left the band, but they are still one of the best American reggae bands, not only on the East Coast, but in the entire country...I'm not criticizing the local talent, only suggesting that they may need to pay a little more attention to their ability to remain in harmony and resonance and a little less attention on wardrobe, entourage and covering the same old tired Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh standards and be creative with their own material. Big Up Jah Works. They do great covers, but personally you can't beat their original tunes. See Ya at the Show!
