Most laughs on Earth

If you haven’t already heard of the comedy show that brings six comedians from all different cultural backgrounds together under one roof, now is the time to check out the Most Races Show on Earth (MRSOE). From Greek to Polish to African American, the MRSOE offers a versatile array of humor and perspective. “We have a cast of top notch stand up comedians for this show who are guaranteed to split your sides,” said Charles Carmody, director of the Charleston Music Hall, “I want to continue expanding the boundaries of comedy in Charleston, and I think this show is very unique and inspired.” Notable comedians include Jeremy McLellan, winner of the 2015 Charleston Comedy Festival Stand-Up Competition and Rob Haze of NBC’s “Stand-Up for Diversity.” Those involved in putting this show together want to use comedy as a platform for furthering Charleston’s movement toward equality. Carmody told us, “I loved the idea of using comedy and humor to break down racial barriers and to bring people from different races and backgrounds together.”
