Re: “Black Lives Matter march planned for Saturday at 2 p.m.

@Ima...thank you! The point is being completely misconstrued at this point.

I don't think the columnist is against freedom of speech, lol, I truly believe that he just doesn't want ignorance to take away from the point he is trying to make.

@Jaxx, you stated that you don't see much being done to change the fact that black lives should matter to other black men. One, you must live under a rock or you choose to not make yourself aware of things that go on in the community. Two, even if NOTHING was being done to stop black on black crime that does not mean that this injustice should go unnoticed. To me, that's saying exactly what you said I "implied"... why should black lives matter to anyone else when they don't matter to their own community. Maybe you should word your thoughts differently. And i don't understand why you feel attacked. Everyone is just stating their thoughts just like you.

Thanks for the congratulations, btw :-).

Re: “Black Lives Matter march planned for Saturday at 2 p.m.

So @Jaxx, what I'm hearing you say is that because young black men "kill one another on a daily basis" as you stated... we should not care when others do the same? I'm about to be a mother to a black male and I would hate to think that his life has no meaning or is not as precious as someone of another race's because of what other black men have done or are doing. I'm sure you do not want to be judged solely by what others of the same race have done before you or will do.
