Re: “FEATURE ‌ Reading, Writing, Radiation

Real_life Some facts: 1) People ride in cars, not on them. 2) Surrounding is not spelled surounding. 3) Things are not "health risky", they are "health risks". 4) Opposing is not spelled oppossing. 5) There are times when it is grammatically incorrect to use "is" instead of "are" in a sentence. 6) Run-on sentences are never acceptable. Yes, I'd say you're definately missing something. I sure hope someone with grammar like this doesn't teach or sit on a school board of directors.

Like the above writer (by the way, how is C. doing?), my previous comment was reported and not posted. As you can now read, it is non offensive. Thanks for removing my comment, Clyde and Jill. By the way, the "bailout" performed by the Hiers family entitled Jill Hiers to a "directress" job which she had no disclosed educational background or qualifications for, and she took a salary of $62,500 plus benefits annually from the school. This is general public knowlege since the school is a private, non-profit organization, and it is perfectly legal to disclose it. Some "bailout".

Re: “FEATURE ‌ Reading, Writing, Radiation

My child attends CTMS. Please drive by the school. The tower is RIGHT BESIDE the play ground. 10 yards is not impossible, it really is that close. If I had known the tower was going up, no way would I have registered my child for another year there. I am told the tower has been in the works for 2 years. It was erected after Mr. Hiers son finished the school and his wife Jill stopped working at the school. If he felt it was safe, he would have erected it immediately and not waited for his family to no longer be present on the grounds. The fact is that the school is not loosing money, but they are not making him any either. They can't, they are a non-profit organization (I am wondering if Mr. Hiers doesn't write of the additional rent on his taxes as a donation, I am also wondering if the Hiers salary themselves as consultants). Mr. Hiers received a very lucrative offer for the property, and he probably wants to sell it. His erection of the cell tower will cause loss of students and tuition, and give him an excuse to sell. With wealth and power comes responsibility and civic duty, the Hiers' have certainly not lived up to theirs.
