Re: “Grumpy fashionistas suffer from champagne separation anxiety

I would like to make sure that your readers (and you)know that the organizers of the event, Tara Mills and Kristen Armstrong, had nothing to do with the champagne deficit. I, as the Executive Director of People Against Rape, take full responsibilty for running out. All of the champagne was donated (over 200 bottles, by the way) and I was sure that we would have more than enough. Boy was I wrong! This is a lesson learned and one we will keep in mind for future events. I will use this forum to say that Tara and Kristen were fabulous to work with. They both did this voluntarily, and I am looking forward to working with them on future projects. I thank you for attending the event and getting PARs name out there. Over the last 36+ years, PAR has served tens of thousands of sexual assault victims in the Tricounty area. Events like the Sale Soiree and Fashion show not only bring awareness to our program, but also will allow us to continue to operate.
