Re: “Let Mayor Keith Summey sing your Garth Brooks parking blues away

Use Uber instead of driving your own car. No parking worries!

Just look for the rubber tread marks with flames in the road.

Re: “A quick and easy guide to Uber in Charleston

Wow a factual article about Uber from Charleston City Paper with only a slightly negative stance. Will wonders never cease! Last year you slaughtered Uber with multiple negative articles. Uber has helped Charleston in numerous ways, including saving lives. I know your job is to "sell" papers (yes I know yours is free), but I'd say there is a huge percentage of your readership who uses Uber regularly. It would pay to warm up to Uber since the company is here to stay. And by the way, do you think any of the taxi drivers are "trained"? So let's keep it fair CCP! A small step forward.

Re: “Removing the Confederate flag isn't enough

Matt - I think you should have stuck with your original plan and not write an article about the topic at all. You've stated there are racial problems where unity and taking down flags is not enough, that as Caucasians, we should shed our white privilidge completely. How does one do this? Your story sounds like every other main stream media one about race out there. If I treat everyone I come with equally regardless of who they are, that's equality. Anything more would be special treatment. I wish someone had a top ten list of exactly what white people should do to exonerate themselves of white privilidge and something that some slave owners did 150 years ago so we can go on about our business. As a white male, Matt, I'm sure you can come up with a few answers to what you are suggesting. Until then, come up with an actual creative story that hasn't been already been regurgitated plenty of times by everyone else.
