Re: “Let's not let Charleston become Myrtle Beach

I will agree with the Retired Navy Biker, between my wife and I we have 45 years served in the Air Force (22 and 23). We have earned the right to use whatever legal mode of transportation we choose. I pay taxes, registration, insurance and am licensed to operate my motorcycle anywhere in the United States of America. You sir are required by law to share the road with me and to operate your vehicle in a safe manner.

Your facts are skewed and biggoted, it was Myrtle Beach locals that killed that boy, not bikers. If automobile drivers were attentative less motorcyclists would feel the need to ensure you knew they were there and fewer of us would be treated at hospitals and the like.

If we ban your car from the roads and all others like it we can reduce taxes because there will be less wear and tear on the highways. We will need fewer parking areas and will not have to disrupt the bay view with large parking garages or the congestion that cars cause every rush hour. Not a warm fuzzy is it.

This is true, Myrtle Beach has run off a large group of tourists that visit more than just during Bike Week. They will continue to want money from the state to promote tourism and Liz Gilland of Horry County is going to Dubai to try to bring over more terrorists...whoops tourists to visit your coastal cities as they run the Americans out.
