Mary Page Marlowe

When: Sept. 20-Oct. 12 2019
Price: $20+
Pulitzer- and Tony-winning playwright Tracy Letts (August Osage County, Killer Joe — oh and he plays Lady Bird’s dad in, well, Lady Bird) brings us the story of Mary Page Marlowe, a seemingly normal woman living out an unremarkable life in Ohio. An accountant and mother of two, Marlowe is played by six actresses (and a doll!) in the Woolfe Street production. The story is told out of chronological order — Marlowe as a 19-year old in 1965, a 40 year-old explaining her divorce to her 12 and 15 year old in a Denny’s. Marlowe at 12. Marlowe at the end of her life. Letts explores the weight a moment can hold, and how these moments build up to equal a life, extraordinarily ordinary. *Check back for accurate dates and times of each performance.
