People have lost sight of the idea that actions have consequences. Now that we've made every physical contact between human beings actionable in court, people (like our undergrad here in Art of Douchebaggery) feel protected in doing whatever disrespectful and disruptive things they want, no matter how it screws with somebody else.

This asshat flies onscreen with the ONLY purpose of disrupting what Cantore is doing for a living, and Cantore is just supposed to stand there like it's ok? So what if he does... What happens to El Douche? Nothing. And then we've essentially said it's ok for him to do this kind of stuff any time he wants. Cantore puts a knee in the kid's obviously vacant sack, and now it's a different story. Now it's "hey, maybe if you rush a middle aged TV personality live on the air, you could catch a beatdown. Best avoid that."

If I could send Cantore a virtual high five, you know I would.
