Re: “Clint Eastwood focuses on the wrong parts of Chris Kyle's life in American Sniper

I feel like I watched a different movie than this reviewer. In my opinion the movie hit the mark squarely center mass whereas as this review was an errant shot in the dirt (puns intended). The film is brilliant. One of the best I've ever seen. Cooper makes himself a legend with this film, too. He is amazing. This was not only a riveting war movie, it was a love story, and it drew me and my 18 year old son in and gripped us tightly for two hours straight and wouldn't let go.. not even once. I actually sat in my car and cried before I drove home after watching it. Beware, the film is absolutely heartbreaking, but at the same time necessary. Epic story, epic hero, epic film. This reviewer is WAY off base and unfortunately wasn't able to make the visceral connection everyone in the dead silent theater made with me and my son tonight. We all left stunned, humbled and grateful. Bravo, Clint and Bradley. Just wow. Thank you vets. RIP Chris Kyle. -a US Army military vet
